Hi all,

Well, the main goal is some sort of interesting visual hook that
suggests how much of the country is done. Perhaps just a big arrow
thing, like you put on http://theyworkforyou.com/video ?

Or a thermometer in the shape of the UK? :)

I must say, I think that using an old constituency map would be fine,
if it's only a small map of the UK, 3-5 inches high, and the amount of
pedants who won't sign up because they've visually spotted that it is
for the old constituencies is going to be close to zero, I'd guess.
That would, however, mean having to identify both which old and which
new constituency someone was in, which is perhaps a bit redundant for
sheer prettiness value.

Anyway, I'm delighted to see Seb, Paul and Timothy step up on this
project. Please do keep the rest of dev-public informed on what's
going on.

Lastly, I know that Julian Todd has some useful info on pre-populating
the candidate DB.

best,

Tom
