I'm willing to join, but I don't want to present this as "new wizards", but rather a different approach to the same need: a framework for data-entry forms. The result will provide an alternative to the editwizards, but in no way claim to replace it, let alone be backward-compatible with it. I have considerable experience using EW to create forms. In some cases EW are adequate, in others I find they are just not the right tool for the job. In addition they are hard to learn. What I'm looking for is a solution that leverages open standards (making it easier/more attractive to learn) and is easier to customize.
