Hello everybody, working for days now to get access to RedBoot with no success about the method Port 9000.
So I bought a USB Uart Converter from germanys electronic seller www.conrad.de Partnumber: 197326 http://www.produktinfo.conrad.com/datenblaetter/175000-199999/197326-an-01-de-MINI_USB_TO_UART_CONVERTER_de_en_fr_nl.pdf Trying to connect the right pins - but with no effect. Making a connection over /dev/ttyUSB0 gave no success and no connection or any characters on the display. Any help is appreciated. I've connected the pins in that way: Fonera : USB Uart GND : X1 / X5 connected RX : X3 TX : X4 3V3 : X2 Is there any problem with the circuits? I got no idea why there is no connection (serial console output). I followed all instructions. The device installs properly as /dev/ttyUSB0 und Ubuntu 9.10. As I said - no console output. And I really need RedBoot-Access for a little project. Okay, so far. Thanks in advance.
