I'm betting this goes back to the home drive situation I brought up earlier when I discussed the logon drive parameter in smb.conf. If you get a chance, see if you can tell what drive letter the netlogon.bat file is running under; it's probably Z: If you set logon drive = H: (or whatever), the user will have \\servername\username automatically mapped to that drive and netlogon.bat will run under that drive. Without a clear definition, I believe samba defaults to using Z: David M.
