Then you're in luck (sort of):

       hide dot files (S)

This is a boolean parameter that controls whether files
starting with a dot appear as hidden files.

Default: hide dot files = yes

Example: hide dot files = no

All .* files are hidden files by default.

If you really want .* to be inaccessible, you will need a per share "veto
files" setting, and will need to decide what to set "delete veto files"
to.
