You beat me to the punch, Gordon :)  The logon drive maps to the share, not
the sub-directory.  It's funny that this even works, since I get the
following:

C:\>net use Q: \\servername\username\subdir
System error 67 has occurred.

The network name cannot be found.

This must be the "helpful" way of explaining that subdir cannot be directly
mapped.
