Hi everyone. I've been talking offlist with Charlie and Gordon re SME5.1 and the EXT3 FS. They have suggested I open the discussion on devinfo so here is what I've researched so far. It appears this requires:
the kernel source, ext3-0.0.7a.tar.gz, e2fsprogs-1.25.tar.gz I've done my best to gather these here: http://myezserver.com/docs/mitel/kernel-src-howto.html http://myEZserver.com/downloads/mitel/ext3fs.zip e2fsprogs-1.25.tar.gz simply provides updated utilities that support the ext3 filesystem. ext3-0.0.7a.tar.gz simply includes two patches which need to be applied to the kernel source: linux-2.2.19.ext3.diff linux-2.2.19.kdb.diff then rebuild the kernel and issue 'tune2fs -j /dev/device' to upgrade an existing ext2 filesystem to ext3. Any 'kernel experts' ready to offer advice and assistance with this kernel patch/rebuild/test process?
