First hiccup... :-) When getting packages necessary for building the kernel, make sure you get glibc-devel-2.2.4-19.i386.rpm as SMEv5.1b1 is built on glibc-2.2.4... Secondly, since any inclusion of ext3 support into a later version of SME is likely to require moving *away* from a stock standard RedHat kernel, would it be worth trying to build this support into a 2.2.20 kernel? If memory serves, wasn't 2.2.20 a fix to the 2.2 kernel for a nasty bug found in kernels <= 2.4.8/9? -- Please report bugs to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] (only) to discuss security issues Support for registered customers and partners to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives by mail and http://www.mail-archive.com/devinfo%40lists.e-smith.org
