This was my thought as well. My experience with ipchains is fairly limited, but I have spent some time working with NAT routing and found it to work very seamlessly with internet apps such as ICQ and MS netmeeting. If I understand iptables correctly, it is essentially NAT. Maybe some Linux routing guru out there can shed some light on this issue. Regards, -- Greg J. Zartman, P.E.
