This is what I figured out with the "remoteBrowseSync" in the smb.conf
file in e-smith. Remember, E-Smith uses a template system. The file
that you need to edit is in the /etc/e-smith/templates/etc/smb.conf/
directory. The file in question, at least on my box, is
11RemoteBrowseSync. Clear out the reminder right before the entry and
make sure that you put it in "quotes". Then put in the network subnet
that you want samba to inform. For example, if the remote network is
192.168.2.x then you put in "remotebrowsesync = 192.168.2.255" Whatever
the network is except for the last number you put in .255. That will
include the whole subnet.

Hi

What setting did you use to achieve this? I have been playing with
REMOTE BROWSE SYNC = <remote_IP> in smb.conf but have had no joy.
