Not me. I've had the latest NIO-based stables running permanently (until
the next build was available) without trouble. It's on Sun 1.4.1_03, Red
Hat 9 box with NPTL disabled as per the startup-sh script
(LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1). So here's a happy user.

I used to have node freezes in the past though with the pre-NIO code
(and on 1.4.1_02). Don't be to quick in concluding that NIO is the root
of the problems, though it may be related of course.

There seems to be excessive demand in the network these days, i.e. since
the 0.5.2 publicity. My node pushes out 800 kbits/sec while only pulling
in 120kbit/sec, with 23 Gb in the data store. This ratio used to be more
like 2:1. A new load of transients and/or near-empty permanent nodes may
have the changed the network traffic quite a bit, emphasizing some bugs
that were already around and slooooooowing inserts.
