As long as their node capacity and bandwidth exceed the content they are
inserting, more nodes would always help, AFAIK.

Doubtfull. I mean, sure, they can make a freesite with adds and crap, but basically freenet is bad for the commercial application of pron.
Maybe for continues 'live' coverage (cough) or something, if a viable pay-system can be established...but then again, they don't need freenet for that.
But for all the more static stuff it useless to ask money; sooner or later, it would appear for free on other freesites, and they wouldn't be able to do squad about it.
