Hence my smoketest proposal.
1) Centralization is unfortunate.
IMHO Centralization isn't an issue for a development tool.
2) Would Windows World have some way of taking part in this automation?
That will be up to the Windows World - if someone wants to create a test harness that will do the same thing as the procmail/bash script combo I described then of course they can participate.
