It's already like that... connections that haven't been active for over
a week are already displayed in red.
In fact, I would like to stop people from removing connections, not
encourage them to do so ;)
What about encouraging them to leave the connection by indicating that
Freenet still considers it active even if the user does not? Aren't you
primarily worried about users closing good connections? Perhaps if you
reassured the user that the connection was actually good he'd be less
likely to remove it haphazardly.
Yes it may be redundant, and perhaps you'd end up with every connection
either red or green, but maybe the bit of reassurance would work.
