Wow! That's impressive compatibility.

What I was thinking is that while the questions are about security
(and other) settings, they are asked instead of an explicit selection
of low / normal / high (network|physical) security levels.

Working from the exchange between Matthew and I March 23rd:

1) Do you know someone who runs Freenet?

If yes is selected:
1.5) Do you want to connect to untrusted strangers to improve
performance? Freenet will be faster but less secure.

If not:
Freenet will connect to strangers. You can always add connections to
your trusted friends later to improve security.

2) Do you have a monthly bandwidth limit?

If yes is selected:
[ ] GB/month

If not:
Select your Internet connection speed:

[table of common Internet connection speeds]
[autodetected limit if available]
[ ] KiB/s download | [ ] KiB/s upload

3) How much hard drive space do you want to give to Freenet?

[ ] GiB (initially populated with the default of some fraction of
free disk space)

4) (optional) Would you like to set a password?

Password: [ ] Confirm: [ ]

If you set a password Freenet will require it to decrypt its data each
time you start it.

Do these questions seem reasonable?

Steve
