I've already explained that my opinion only solidified when I saw feedback from multiple independent people saying the same thing, and this only happen in the last day or two when I solicited feedback from designers on Reddit. If the suggestions would have been valid a month ago then they are still valid today, even though they might have been more convenient a month ago. I'm pretty sure none of us are professional website designers, which is why I solicited advice from people that are. Taking that advice seriously isn't nitpicking, it is essential.
