I agree with Oskar,
Also the performance of an individual node will depend on how well its
internal representation of Freenet corresponds with the actual layout of
Freenet.
The only way for a node to update and or validate its internal
representation is by issuing requests.
It doesn't really matter where the requests originate so it is Good for a
node to be in high demand even if it is by 'leach' nodes because it improves
its own internal representation.
If we implement closeness that takes the nodes performance into account this
effect is amplefied.
