That's open for discussion. I just wanted to define the user view - the way
it's done is another matter.

The underlying philosophy behind the config program is that someone can
click 'ok', and be guaranteed a working node (provided they're not in
China).
If they want to change store size and location, fine - if not, they can
accept defaults.

On the 'Advanced Settings' tab, the seednodes file defaults to 'ALL.REF'.
This file can be loaded with a set of 24/7 permanent nodes - I'm happy for
mine to be included.

One problem with downloading from freenetproject.org is the blocks already
imposed on that domain in China, perhaps Saudi Arabia and many other
countries.

So the question of seed node sources is outside the scope of NodeConfig.exe,
and is left to the installer writer. Just stick whatever into ALL.REF, and
all will be fine.

Agreed - that is preferable.
I could insert a tab after 'Basic Settings', titled 'Gain Access'. This tab
could urge the user to get a node ref from a trusted source, and only allow
a fallback to the inbuilt refs as a last resort.

Cheers
David
