Whether contact information for those names is available on the internet is their own decision, so you will not expose them to unsolicited contact. (2) Your central argument in this thread seems to be that the change is for the next generation of people. Someone said you are born 1977. By your own logic in this thread, where you multiple times informed the others that you think they should not speak for people whom they do not represent, you would not be allowed to represent the next generation: You are not a member of it, in fact you are multiple generations behind if you are born 1977. Thus, can you please tell us if it is true that you are born 1977, or at least tell us the decade in which you were born if you do not wish to disclose your age?
