Try changing the 'filename' statement to:
option option-67 "/tftpboot/platinum.cm";
As for tcpdump, you could try:
tcpdump -vv -x -s 1518 port 67 or port 68
That should catch both client and server messages although you could
probably omit one of the 'or' branches and get the same effect.
I've had limited luck using the 'filename' option. I still owe Ted a
tcpdump for it but I never seem to get around to it. I was able to work
around it though, with 'option option-67' and that was the last I
visited 'filename'. If you send a tcpdump to the list, I'll forward it
on to the UBR900 team if it appears to be Cisco's bug.
In the meantime, I just tested it, and option 67 works with 11.3.7
(old!) so I'm sure it will work with newer images too.
