Packets that are looped back cannot be snooped.

BUT, you can use a wonderful utility called strace (not
/usr/sbin/strace). It's a truss replacements that does wonders.

I'll post a patch to strace 3.1 that updates it to know about many new
system calls in Solaris 2.6 (including socket calls).
