Further, most of the traffic they carry is not really even ham radio. It is email from boaters who don't want to pay for satellite internet service. One wonders how much of this traffic hews to the amateur radio requirement that it not be business traffic. At best most of it is CB type traffic, i.e. someone wanting to say hello to Aunt Nelly.
