Hi John,

I agree with you. 

My original "Bandwidth-Based Frequency Plan" (which predated ARRL's
FCC proposal) listed wider bandwidths, such as a 20meters 3kHz segment
from 14075 to 14350. This would provide much more freedom for hams,
whether keyboarding, automatic, or experimental than ARRL's proposal
does:
