Hi Sven,
I have fonts.conf file in "/etc/fonts".
Actually i had it in "/usr/local/etc/fonts". Later i copied it to
"/etc/fonts".
Now, when i compiled & run my example codes of gtk-directfb, to be clear, i
ran helloworld code, i used to get segemntation fault.
How much ever i tried locating it, i could not make out the reason.
So i used a debugger by name "valgrind" to llocate the SIGSEGV.
But to my surprise, the helloworld code worked successfully without any fault.
I really could not make out what could be the cause.
I am really not happy that the codes are working, rather more confused as to
"why is it working and how a debugger can make difference?".
Now i even reboot the OS, and now without debugger also, all the demo and
example codes including my own gtk codes are working. I am able to see all
sorts of fonts types, i could even change their style, size etc.
Nowhere there are any traces of faults or bugs.
Pls i need some guidence as the problem looks quite strange.
Sincerely i have not changed anything in my previous installations.
Only inclusion is a debugger, but i ran the debugger only once along with
the helloworld example as:
# valgrind --check-leak=yes ./helloworld
Thanks in advance.
regards,
Bheemesh.
