Just realised that some earlier emails didn't go to the list so if anyone's wondering, we're talking about the DVD subpicture layer on the Unichrome. It doesn't seem to work, you just see black. I've checked that the palette values are being written to what appears to be the right register and in the right way (at least it's the same as the Unichrome X driver does it). I've also checked that the layer is enabled and that a reasonable sane-looking memory offset is being set (0x01f57800 in my case). I did find one bug but it would have had little effect and fixing it didn't help. Hmm...
