OK thanks. Can you put a picture of the latter somewhere where I can see it? Also, what does the find-revision.sh script from DirectFB/gfxdrivers/unichrome say? Finally, see if adding unichrome-revision=17 to /etc/directfbrc (regardless of the actual number reported) makes any difference.
