Yes, I experience the same. The problem with cursor can be quick-fixed
by issuing "setterm -cursor off >/dev/tty7" prior to running your
application.
In addition, there is also (more severe) problem - its not safe to
switch consoles, when there is running DFB application. The screen gets
messed, one can see 2x2 or 4x4 versions of DFB screen in consoles. The
console switching code is probably broken.
These errors are probably not caused by DFB, but since the viafb is now
in the CVS, it would be nice to see an upgrade for it.
