I'm rendering text with DirectFB 1.1.0 on a Gumstix (ARM) board with a 18-bit-graphics (!) LCD.
I have two issues: 1) The spacing between the characters are really long. Anyone know how to get proper spacing? I'm using a normal ttf-font. 2) The antialiasing of the characters is wrong. It becomes colorful pixels instead of a smooth transition... I guess it's the infamous 18-bit-mode at play here? Anyone got any ideas on how to make it look beautiful again? Unfortunately I cannot use any other graphics mode than 18-bit. However, loading images from file and blitting them works great. It's the characters anti-aliasing that look strange. /Magnus _______________________________________________ directfb-users mailing list directfb-users@directfb.org http://mail.directfb.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/directfb-users
