I normally stay completely out of these discussions on the mailing list but
this one sentence caught my interest. Are you indicating that there is a
recommendation on freedesktop.org that GNUstep should be following but at the
moment isn’t? For years I have tried to implement everything from there that
seemed useful to us. I admit that I have neglected this task over the last few
years. I still follow the freedesktop mailing list, though. And there nothing
important came up in that time.
It really would help if you could be a bit more specific.
