Good idea!

Some notes on implementation just to help OpenSRS along: Setup the envelope
sender address (not the FROM header but something different) on the renewal
e-mails that you send to have the domain-id or domain-name encoded in them.
Something like: "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". Now when a bounce message
comes to this address, software can easily determine which domain this is for
and take appropriate action (such as sending e-mail to the other contacts).

I'd also like to see a record of what notification e-mails have bounced/sent in
the "view active domain" page (action=view_domain) in the RWI.

Something like a log:

8/10/2000 - sent two month notification to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
9/10/2000 - sent one month notification to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
9/10/2000 - e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] bounced
9/10/2000 - sent notification to [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED]

This way if the customer does not get the notification, we have a real history
of actions to PROVE that "yes, we did our due diligence here". And since the
administrative e-mail address may actually change over the course of this
interaction if the customer edits their domain, having a record of what e-mail
addresses were notified would be very nice.

Thoughts?
