Grr. CIRA..
It irritates me and creates confusion and more work explaining things to
customers. A lot of customers already get confused by the existing CIRA
policy of sending emails requiring confirmation of the domain name,
creating temporary passwords, permanent passwords, passwords for use on
alternating Thursdays, etc. Personally I wish they would adopt the
model used by the gtld registry and get their finger out of the pie,
except when necessary for regulatory purposes.
