Right. It's Verisign's way to deceive you into renewing it for two
years. I'd reiterate my characterization I made on the bizops list
this week, but gee, I never realized so many people thought so highly
of pond scum that they would take exception to my calling Verisign by
that name :)
It will take about two days after you renew the domain for one year
for them to delete the invoice that shows up on the other payment page
that only presents the two year option. You will get an email when
they do this.
