To clarify a bit, we oppose the extra-legal grant that "sunrise" principles,
in general, afford IP interests. Our qualm isn't with specific processes or
registries in this regard, but rather with the fact that the IP community
are provided with additional rights beyond those enjoyed by a "normal"
registrant.
That being said, we are all in this boat together and only through
constructive effort can we actually get to a point where the system in
general works for everyone.
