Hi,

the domain is registerd with NETWORK SOLUTIONS, but the problem is that the
other provider - Agora from Denmark - has bankroted and they do not exist
anymore!
To make things even worse they are all the contacts for the domain, so there
is no chance that they will give the approval to transfer the domein.

I know before, while we were working with Network Solutions, that I had to
send them the letter from the costumer in which he says that he agrees to
make the changes, but I do not know if it will also work with OpenSRS?

Or is the NS responsible for this transfer (I'm completly lost now :(

Thanx to all!

Alex

Is the domain registered with OpenSRS? If so, as long as the admin
contact's email address is correct, and goes to your customer, there
will be no problem transferring the domain name.

If it is at another registrar, it still will work for most registrars,
a couple have policies that interfere with transfers though. Network
Solutions and Register.com require that the admin contact also verify
their intent with them, and the message they send out can be
confusing, so make sure they know to look for that message if the
domain is at Register.com Or Network Solutions.
