Correction .. TLD Networks no longer sells .GOD - as you can see they took down their website. We had instructed our barrister to proceed by means of a criminal complaint regarding TLD Networks infringement on our property rights - we choose criminal proceedures as opposed to civil because the offending parties were clearly aware of our property interests. So TLD Networks in it's wisdom choose the correct path and discontinued abusing our interllectual property rights. As you can see their web site is non functional. Now if you want to complain to anyone about this - and i agree the root system is fragmenting and alot of people are stepping on each others toes causing alot of confusion not to mention fraud - then complain to ICANN. It is ICANN which began duplicating namespace and setting a bad example for the world. Basically TLD Networks said to themselves - if ICANN can duplicate .BIZ - then so can we. This is a false assumption which has been already proven to be a dogs breakfast - and it's ICANN's fault - simple as that. regards joe > > or http://www.adns.net/ or http://www.dotusa.com > > Jesus... > > WAIT...i've got it...no, dotjesus.com is already taken. > > dotbuddha.com is available...too bad there are so many letters. > > Maybe I'll shorten it to three letters and start the .bud TLD! > > While I don't completely agree with Swerve on the control of TLDs by private > interests (it is a capitalist country after all), someone has to mediate the > root clashes...this is nuts. > > -bryanw > HalfPriceNames Domain Registry > http://www.halfpricenames.com/ > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Marc Schneiders > Sent: Monday, November 19, 2001 10:57 AM > To: Spy OpenSRS Mail > Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: Born in the dot USA! > > > On Mon, 19 Nov 2001, at 12:19 [=GMT-0500], Spy OpenSRS Mail wrote: > > > What the f is this? > > > > A client of ours is asking us to poke around and dig up info on this dot > USA > > TLD. > > > > Anybody know the details of this? > > See http://www.adns.net/ > > > I'm sure it is not for real [...] > > Depends on what you have in named.root.
