Got some interesting responses off list about this, but mostly about other ways of getting around the GPL licensing rather than forking. And a few others that were not understanding why the code they were or were planning on selling is effectively GPL.
While I found one or two of the suggestions interesting, the core problem still exists. I still firmly believe that it would be in the best interests of both OpenSRS and their resellers to release just the core libs, the perl modules, under the LGPL. This would enable much easier integration into ISP billing packages, control panels, etc, that are not GPL software themselves, and thus increase the exposure and availability of the OpenSRS system to more providers. -- Best regards, William X Walsh <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- OpenSRS installation and customizations Payment Processing Integration Apache Installation and Support Services http://www.wxsoft.com/
