Hi Mike,

I'd agree, but think of how many seniors/newbies you have among your client
list.  I can't tell you how many calls I get from customers who confess to being
nearly clueless about the Internet & domain registrations.  We do our best to
provide as much guideance as we can to get them started.

I would hazard a guess that a whole bunch of these customers if they were to
receive something like this that looks like it came from the Government and has
their domain name on it will act.

I agree that the Domain Name Expiration Notice from Verisign (new motto,
"Verisign, destroying the Internet, one company at a time") is much more
devious, but I think all of these scams need to be dealt with.

I've heard rumblings that there may be a complain raised with the FTC concerning
Verisign, but for now, our best defence is to educate our customers.
