I have had an influx of requests to transfer domain names from OpenSRS to Network Solutions. Four of the requests where from a mailing by Network Solutions to "renew" in their sleazy renewal mailing. I suspect these were submitted back to Network Solutions and the transfer request made that way. However, I have a couple transfer requests that the (very long time) customer says they did not initiate under any circumstances. One of them loathes Network Solutions and wouldn't do business with them at gun-point, so I'm certain someone is playing games.
Is anyone else experiencing these strange requests? And while I'm on the subject, has anyone complained to the USPS about the mailing from Network Solutions that looks like a bill, but does not say it's a bill?
