They are actually pretty amiable overall - you can see some pretty defined lines of difference politically - ie - those registrars involved in the registry business v. those that aren't, those that are overly agressive from a "marketing" perspective v. those that aren't...etc.
For the most part, registrars are pretty good at cooperating with one another - I would only be able to think of about 5 that consistently don't/won't out of the 50-60 that participate in the process.
