Hi, That's the funny thing. The customer's email is listed in the owner contact but he never gets the email. The opensrs system says "sending owner approval to [EMAIL PROTECTED]"
[EMAIL PROTECTED] says "We are not responding to transfer requests" They do have their own procedure, which includes changing nameserver beforehand and sending a fax to them. Said that their system can't deal with our second nameserver though opensrs can. uk2.net uses joker.com. I managed to find a statement on joker's website about transferring domains. Joker says the only thing needed is approval from the owner or admin contact. Anyway I'm getting the feeling that this is a one way road. Once uk2.net for ever uk2.net. One last question, is there any standard procedure for transferring domains? If this is your customer's domain, he must have access to the email (or something similar to GET access to the email) Charles Daminato OpenSRS Product Manager Tucows Inc. - [EMAIL PROTECTED] > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Gregor Streng > Sent: June 25, 2002 5:55 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Transfer not approved > > > Hi all, > > > One of our customers wanted to transfer one of his domains to opensrs. > Therefore we issued the transfer request but we never received a owner > approval.
