Another cute Verisign trick occurs when a transfer is declined or missed by the current owner. Verisign sends out prompt notification to the domain owner announcing that the transfer is declined (Why is this one always seen but the original one missed?) then another 18-24 hours seems to pass before notification gets to OpenSRS so that we can start things over again.
I doubt that it is Tucows who sits on these this long since it's in all our best interests to process and re-start the process asap. The re-submit option under declined transfers was a great feature addition in the RWI a few months back. John Blakney Visual Database Systems / Little Rock
