OpenSRS sends request to Verisign Registry promptly when owner approves
transfer. Timestamp of that request you'd see as "Registry request date".

After that, Verisign Registry sends request to losing Registrar, in this
case Verisign Registrar. It's been our experience that Registry is very
quick with this.

So, it's either problem with how Verisign Registrar process requests, or
connection between 2 pieces of Verisign really sucks :), or Registrar is
bending the truth...
