This could occur from any registrar. If you renew the domain (post expiry) and then transfer within 45 days of expiry, you'll lose a year. Is this something like what you've experienced?
This will also occur with OpenSRS. Due to this, we will allow a transfer post-expiry - just ask, and we'll let it go (if you DO renew it, we cannot allow a refund) Charles Daminato OpenSRS Product Manager Tucows Inc. - [EMAIL PROTECTED] > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:owner-discuss-list@;opensrs.org]On Behalf Of Doug Friend > Sent: October 29, 2002 2:23 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Missing RCOM year > > > Hi all, > > Have a transfer that has recently completed and now it has an > expiry date of > Sept 2003.
