In my situation, all the domains we register are currently put on our nameservers. So, I can shut down the dns AND lock the domain and have effectively blocked them from doing anything. If, as Charles describes, Paul won't release the name without a UDRP then I have nothing to worry about - theoretically.
It would be nice if there were a contact at OpenSRS that could extend the registrar_hold on a per item basis...or as part of the registry code. I think to prevent at least the appearance of abuse, tho, it couldn't be done without human intervention from OpenSRS. Of course I'd rather be able to do it myself....that goes without saying.
