So because it doesn't compete with YOU personally, even if it does other
resellers, it is ok?

Even when the company gave vague non-specific assurances they wouldn't
creep into areas like this when this concern was first raised and told
to them that it would be considered a deal breaker if they did it?

And since they have shown they are willing to effectively deceive their
resellers like that, and encroach on them in this way, there is no
reason to feel assured they will not further expand that and begin
competing with you directly.

But since it doesn't effect you right now, let's just let it go by.

Do YOU know what a CNAME record is?  (Without googling it?)

Do you know what a 302 response is?
