The extension of the domain for which I'm attempting to change the name servers
is .com.  The name servers are registered in a .net domain.  Is that the
problem?

I've got numerous .com domains using these name servers already, but they're
all in the same OpenSRS profile of the domain where the the name servers were
registered.
