The name servers are physically registered at the registry level.  What
profile you are using or even the registrar doesn't matter.

I would suggest trying to add the name servers to all registries again and
see if that fixes the problem.  Perhaps the .com registry is being a bit
flakey right now in communicating with OpenSRS.
