You didn't mention the extension of the domain you are trying to add the name servers to, however the solution is most likely as simple as using the "add name server to foreign registries" tool in the RWI to get the name servers registered in the registry in question.
(*If you already used this tool, perhaps there was a problem adding to the registry in question the first time around).
