I have not encountered any clients leaving because we are Canadian, and in
fact, since 9/11 I have actually had several American clients request that
their web hosting be moved to our Toronto servers from the one we have in
Baltimore.  They felt it would be safer.

I agree with Gordon Hudson though, perhaps there was another reason he would
have left.  After all, why would he not just move the domains, what reason
was there to also move the hosting?

I think it's natural to want to be patriotic but I don't think it's
reasonable for a customer to expect that EVERY product or service that his
supplier sells him is going to be 'home grown'.
