Show your client the WHOIS for GM.com, EDS.com, Oracle.com, etc.
(anyone know of other elite US corporations using OpenSRS?).

BTW, I'm surprised GM.com and Oracle.com have under 4 months until
expiry! Hopefully they have auto-renew enabled, or something (names
like that should be renewed for 10 years!).

I'm not sure what the costs are, but Tucows might consider getting one
or more extra registrar accreditations, and then be able to offer their
clients a choice of legal jurisdictions for their registrant
agreements. e.g. I can choose the Canadian one, given I live in
Toronto. An American might want to choose the US one (although, they
might be better off with the Canadian one -- fewer frivolous lawsuits
in Canadian courts, given losers typically pay the legal costs of
winners). A European might pick the British or German jurisdiction, and
so on.
